Q-Tip is scheduled to give a single sold-out reading of Nelson George’s Miles Davis screenplay My Funny Valentine at Joe’s Pub in New York City. The legendary rapper previously spoke with XXL about reading the script for the first time in front of Davis’s family and friends seven years ago. According to the theater’s description, the plot takes place in the ’80s and events unfold after Davis answers a fan letter. My Funny Valentine takes place Monday (March 26th).Â
