[youtube id=”p8Uw1cl4xjg”] Big Daddy Kane graced NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series with a 19-minute set of three classics and a freestyle. New artists are usually featured but BDK is the first rap legend from the ’80s to perform in the room. The Brooklyn legend was always a superior showstopper among his peers with presentation and choreography directed influenced by James Brown and The Famous Flames. The mini show for NPR proves that Kane still has the charisma, style and flow that made him famous in the ’80s.
