Portrait Returns With In The Moment

Portrait has returned with “In The Moment” after being away for a while. They are remembered for their success in the ’90s with “Here We Go Again” and “Honey Dip.” Their R&B style was punctuated with hip-hop and the combination got them labeled as one of the last instances of New Jack Swing.  “In The Moment” marks a new era of Portrait with a sound that compliments their soul-singing legacy. Founding members Michaelangelo and Phillip have added Ruben Cruz to the group. Their reemergence is welcomed in 2018 when the R&B band has become obsolete.
