She told Lowe that she wanted to pay homage to Kim and that may explain the usage of Kim’s “Queen Bee” track for “Wake Me Up.” Remy also told Lowe that “Wake Me Up” is not directed at Nicki Minaj but the fans will hear the lyrics as the next move in their exchange. Remy just signed a deal with Columbia Records to release her next album Seven Winters, Six Summers.
