Chadwick Boseman stars as T’Challa the Black Panther who is the main character and the king of the fictional African nation of Wakanda. In the clip, he is seen addressing the people and battling his enemies. Ryan Coogler is the director of the movie that has Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, Phylicia Rashad and Forest Whitaker in the cast. Wakanda is a nation that is advanced in technology with various tribes ready to fight over how it is governed. Coogler describes Black Panther as someone more interested in the good of the people than his ego:
“What makes Panther different from other Marvel superheroes is, he doesn’t seem himself as a superhero. He sees himself as a politician. “He wakes up thinking, ‘How am I going to fulfill my duties as king of this place?’â€
Black Panther will be in theaters February 2018.
