Hawthorne was lucky in his picks because all three records were from the era that Tuxedo is most inspired by. MFSB’s “Love Is The Message,” the soundtrack to an ’80’s film called Blue Thunder and Logg’s “I Know You Will” were the perfect pieces to go with the guitar from Hawthorne, communal handclaps and synthesizers. The final production only needed vocals, lyrics and another one of their cool videos to finish the deal. Tuxedo’s second album Tuxedo II is out now and they will start their tour in Europe this week and come back to the United States in May.
