Gorillaz announced the release of  Humanz today on Instagram with a release date of April 28th.  Seven years ago Plastic Beach was released and then they went on a hiatus that Damon Albarn used to reunite Blur. The Magic Whip was the rock band’s first album in 13 years and it went to number one in their UK home and had a documentary that was seen in British theaters. It was Albarn’s birthday today and four songs from Humanz, which has guest appearances from Grace Jones, Anthony Hamilton, Vince Staples, De La Soul, Pusha T and Mavis Staples, posted online.
