[youtube id=”EQSTfHPlnDk”] Ronald Bruner Jr. is in the process of releasing his first solo album, Triumph on March 3rd via World Galaxy Records and Alpha Pup. “Take The Time” is from Triumph and it is Bruner’s own style of fusion with the addition of his younger brother Thundercat on vocals. Bruner’s music has roots in the work of Weather Report and could be called a kind of new age fusion. Triumph is another reason why the Bruner family including younger brother Jameel formerly of The Internet are so important to L.A.’s music scene and should be followed.
