But Loggins’ music always had an R&B influence and the benefit of some of the best musicians of the genre on his albums. “Love Will Follow” is from his fifth studio album, Vox Humana. The song was the only one of his to be played on R&B radio as his soundtrack hits permeated the pop charts. Vox Humana had appearances from Phillip Bailey, Michael McDonald, Sheila E, Greg Phillinganes, The Pointer Sisters, Sheena Easton, DeBarge, Howard Hewett and Nathan East. Tom Snow co-wrote “Love Will Follow” and David Sanborn played saxophone “Love Will Follow” and Marilyn Martin provided the backing vocals. Carl Anderson and George Howard have recorded their own versions of “Love Will Follow” since Loggins’ Vox Humana album. In 2009, Kenny Loggins third children’s project,  All Join In was released on Disney Records. Loggins recorded with Michael McDonald again on Thundercat’s 2017 single, “Show You The Way.”
