Janelle Monae, MC Lyte, Maxwell and Toshi Reagon are some of the artists performing this Saturday at the Women’s March On Washington. Questlove, Rakim, Grimes and Neko Case will be a part of the “artists table” to support the event. The march takes place in the U.S. capital and there are 200 support marches around the country. “I am honored to join this critical movement to bring justice and equality to all,” Monae said in a statement. “Music has always been a powerful tool for galvanizing unity and I believe that singing and standing together, our voices will be stronger than any force that tries to repress us.”
