The Harlem native joined Nas’ Mass Appeal label two years ago and it raised his profile favorably among rap fans and critics. East and his crew filmed a straightforward neighborhood video for “30 N***az” from the Kairi Chanel mixtape. He made his television debut this week playing himself on season four premiere episode of Being Mary Jane.
