St. Louis soul singer Brian Owens and his Deacons Of Soul have collaborated with Doobie Brothers legend Michael McDonald on his new single, “For You.” McDonald heard “For You” when Owens was on tour with him in 2015 and from there the collaboration was born. Â Owens credits gospel quartets of the ’50’s for his throwback sound. “For You” is available via iTunes and Owens’ full-length album, The Soul Of Ferguson comes out February 24th.
