Turner’s backup singers were already performing “Baby I’m A Starâ€on Turner’s Target-sponsored Twenty Four Seven world tour that year. She added it to her playlist for the tour and again for her 60th birthday concert DVD, The Best Of Tina Turner Celebrate! Prince was one of Turner’s peers in the ‘80′ and she was a fan of his music. Turner was also known to cover Prince’s “Let’s Pretend We’re Married†on some of her tours and one of those versions is included on The Collected Recordings – Sixties to Nineties.
