[youtube id=”z-TDCW_483w”] Jazmine Sullivan’s rare vocal prowess emerged on Kindred The Family Soul’s “I Am” single. Sullivan debuted as a solo artist in 2008 with her Fearless album which made itself known commercially speaking because of the single “Bust Your Windows.”  On her second album, Love Me Back, Prince’s “The Beautiful Ones” was sampled for the song “Good Enough.” Sullivan confirmed Prince’s connection to her beyond producer Chuck Harmony’s decision to sample him when she covered “Adore” on Tom Joyner’s Foundation Fantastic Voyage earlier this year. She told Billboard that Prince was one of her favorites to touch a stage.
