Teddy Riley will receive the 2016 Soul Train Legend Award for his pioneering work in Pop and R&B. The Grammy-winning producer has spent the last three decades as the creator of  New Jack Swing, founder of  the groups Guy and Blackstreet and the discoverer of The Neptunes. The best moments of Michael Jackson’s Dangerous album has Riley on it as a writer and producer. In recent years, Riley has worked with Snoop Dogg  and  Lady Gaga. He has a current interest in Korean pop and he has written and produced music for rapper Jay Park and girl groups RaNia and Girls Generation. Erykah Badu is hosting the 2016 Soul Train Awards which will air November 27th at 8PM ET on Centric and BET.
