Somethin’ For The People hailed from Oakland, California and included members Curtis “Sauce” Wilson, Rochad Holiday and Jeff “Fuzzy” Young. Their quick moment on the ’90’s R&B radar as artists came after they released the karaoke-inducing “My Love Is The Shhh!” from their second album, This Time It’s Personal. A cover of Prince’s “She’s Always In My Hair” was on this album as they also acknowledged being influenced by the Minneapolis genius.  The success of “My Love Is The Shhh!” gave them songwriting opportunities with Will Smith and Adina Howard. A third album, Issues was released in 2000. Jeff “Fuzzy” Young died of a heart attack in 2011.
