Prince’s Paisley Park compound will be open to the public in October for tours. His sister, Tyka Nelson released a statement today describing Prince’s desire to turn his home into a museum. “Opening Paisley Park is something that Prince always wanted to do and was actively working on. Only a few hundred people have had the rare opportunity to tour the estate during his lifetime,” Nelson said. “Now fans from around the world will be able to experience Prince’s world for the first time, as we open the doors to this incredible place.” Fans will get to see where Prince gave private concerts, recorded music, filmed videos, see where his clothes were made and a host of rare memorabilia. The museum will open October 6th and tickets go sale Friday at OfficialPaisleyPark.com.
