[youtube id=”jXbWkZExJsk”] D’Angelo, Raphael Saadiq and Questlove covered Prince’s “She Always In My Hair” in 1997 for the Scream 2 soundtrack. Their version took away the low-fi psychedelic qualities of Prince’s recording and they added heavy funk and soul. “She’s Always In My Hair”  is an ongoing addition to D’Angelo’s  live shows and he performed another exceptional version at the 2014 Afropunk Festival.
