[youtube id=”W8uqQ5FgHYs”]  Quindon Tarver started his career in the music industry by appearing in Madonna’s video for “Like A Prayer.” He recorded his self-titled solo album in 1996 but he did not gain notice until he covered Prince’s “When Doves Cry” for Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet movie. Tarver’s version of the song appeared on William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet: Music from the Motion Picture, Volume 2.  Tarver was 12-years old when he recorded “When Doves Cry” and he also contributed “Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good)” for the soundtrack and appeared as a choir boy in the film. He is preparing his second solo album for release later this year and keeps his fans updated at his Youtube channel.
