The Prince Online Museum launched today and it’s an archive of many websites Prince launched over the past 20 years. Sam Jennings, who was the webmaster of Prince’s NPG Music Club site, is the director of the online museum. Despite Prince’s refusal to have his music online he still used the internet a great deal from the ’90’s until 2013. Several people who worked with him on his many different sites are involved with the online museum. Prince was recognized by the Webbys for his online contributions and won a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006. The museum has started with 12 of Prince’s most popular sites and you can see it all here.
