Regina Belle wrote “Imperfect Love” to acknowledge the oneness between two people in a relationship when they can agree to accept each other’s imperfections. It is the story of any successful pairing and her husband helped inspire the lyrics. The singer just recently released her new album, The Day Life Began and it’s a mixture of R&B, gospel and jazz.
