J.Dilla’s long-lost vocal album from 2002, The Diary will be released as a joint effort via the recently restarted Pay Jay Records and Mass Appeal on April 15th. Snoop Dogg, Bilal, Kokane, Frank and Dank and Nottz make vocal appearances on the album put together over a 10-year period. “The Introduction” is co-produced by J.Dilla and House Shoes and Dilla raps about his mastery of rap at the pace of A Tribe Called Quest’s “Excursions.”
