Influential New York DJ Big Kap, died yesterday at the age of 45 from a heart attack. Kap was known for being Biggie Small’s DJ, being a member of the Flip Squad and his 1999 album, The Tunnel with Funkmaster Flex. Kap was also responsible for being at the helm of  the all-woman rap song “Da Ladies In The House” that featured Lauryn Hill, Bahamadia, Precise and Uneek. The DJ was also be remembered for having a water bottle thrown at him by the Notorious B.I.G. at the 1995 Summer Jam concert when the video went viral online years later.
