His self-directed video for “Sick” is an act of time traveling through different eras of pop culture with each jump through a window. There is also a tribute to the late Chicago DJ,TIMBUK2, who was also a personal friend. HXLT’s  eponymous debut album is mostly self-produced and reflects his hip-hop and indie rock roots. “Sick” is one of three songs you can preview before the album is released on February 26th.
