Avery Sunshine was recently asked to perform Christmas songs for a national radio show and the experience reminded her of the desire to write her own holiday song. “Never Knew Christmas” was initially created two years ago with her musical partner Dana “BigDane” Johnson when they put together the cords. And two weeks ago they wrote the lyrics over breakfast at IHOP.
