Run The Jewels recently released the remixes  of their 2014 Run The Jewels 2 album which utilized cat sounds. The project was done as a dare on Kickstarter and the band promised to make the album for $40,000 and donate all proceeds to the families of Michael Brown Jr. and Eric Garner. Several producers got involved in the remixes including Prince Paul, The Alchemist and Just Blaze. As an added bonus to the project, Just Blaze is giving away a download of his drum sample kit he used in the early 2000’s.
