[youtube id=”Tuzpn01E6i0″] Sir The Baptist is a Chicago-born proud son of a pastor and he calls his music “church pub rap.”  “Wake Up” is his new single and it is a call to change regarding police brutality and the urban violence in his hometown. His video for the song shows him leading a march through the Bronzeville neighborhood where he grew up and it looks like a scene from a Spike Lee movie for a new generation. Sir The Baptist introduced himself with the civil rights tribute, “Raise Hell” and the  prosperity preachers critique “Creflo Almighty Dollar” featuring Twista. “Wake Up” is  from his forthcoming Pk: Preacher’s Kid debut.
