Strong Arm Steady member Krondon and Shafiq Husayn just launched their White Boiz project on Stones Throw. Their collaboration came after several conversations about the state of contemporary Blackness. Krondon describes their upcoming, Neighborhood Wonderful album as, “Me and Shafiq like Farrakhan meets Flying Lotus.†Neighborhood Wonderful comes out October 2nd and has appearances from Chace Infinite, Thundercat and Anderson Paak. The first video is for “Mothership Intro” and it’s a mixture of Krondon’s rap about culture as they walk the streets in Muslim gear.
