Jazz saxophonist Kamasi Washington is releasing the deluxe version of his debut album, The Epic on October 2nd. The Epic was released in May and the deluxe set includes three vinyl records in individual spine-sleeves with custom artwork, with the full set housed in a rigid outer slipcase. The set also includes two 12″ poster inserts featuring exclusive artwork by KC Woolf Haxton with a story adaptation and calligraphy by Kenturah Davis. Filmmaker and photographer B+ filmed Washington and his band at the Regent Theatre in Los Angeles last spring and that show is basis of The Rhythm Changes short film that was premiered by Nowness.com.
