“Impatient (Just U And Us)” is Psalm One’s first single from her forthcoming P.O.L.Y. (Psalm One Love You) album and it’s a take on the Bill Withers classic “Just The Two Of Us.” Angelenah, who is a co-member of Rapper Chicks with Psalm One, is the featured rapper on the song. P.O.L.Y. is the follow-up to Psalm One’s ZRO FOX EP that came out earlier this year. The Chicago rapper’s usage of P.O.L.Y. for a title is reflective of her choice to rap about her polyamorous lifestyle on the album: “I have multiple loving relationships personally, and if you listen to the music, most of this album talks about it. I’ve never talked about it so much before. What makes this album so special to me is that I have so many loved ones working on it.†P.O.L.Y. comes out in September and Psalm One starts her DIY tour August 21st in her Chicago hometown.
