“Cry To Me” is the debut single from Skip Marley of the celebrated reggae family The Marleys. He is the son of Bob Marley’s daughter Cedella and he does share some tonal commonalities with his famous grandfather. He’s been in the studio with Sly and Robbie and they are working together on new music slated to be released later this year. The teenaged Marley is going on the Catch A Fire tour this summer with his uncles Stephen and Damian. The tour starts on August 1st in Garberville, California and will be making stops in Los Angeles, New York and 9 other states throughout August and into September. On August 16th, Skip will be joining Stephen and Ziggy Marley for a very special “family affair†one-off show to celebrate Bob Marley’s 70th birthday as part of KCRW’s World Festival at The Hollywood Bowl.
