Tone Whitfield and Hezekiah formed Johnny Popcorn while working on Bilal’s Airtight’s Revenge album. They added singer Jani Coral and were officially a soul/rock trio and became another asset to Philadelphia’s post neo-soul scene. “Love The Abuse” is a new song from their upcoming Totem Pole album and it’s the first new material from them in three years.
