“Rock-Rock Away” is the first single from Lyrics Born’s forthcoming Real People album. The project is his eighth and it will be released on his Mobile Home Recordings. He recorded the album in New Orleans and used Rob and Ben of local production team Galactic for the all the songs. There are also appearances from Trombone Shorty, Corey Glover, David Shaw, Billy Martin, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Ivan Neville and Corey Henry. In describing the idea behind the project he says, “I wanted to do something different, something I hadn’t done before.” You can pre-order Real People now.
