Leon Bridges is a new artist who pays tribute to the gospel soul sound of the late ’50’s early ’60’s. The official video for “Coming Home” is like a reenactment of the time period with vintage-looking cinematography and Bridges eating at a diner with seats from the Civil Rights sit-ins. But the interracial romance brings the narrative into 2015. Bridges is currently on tour and his debut album will be released in the summer.
