This is the trailer for the Ava DuVernay directed Selma about the voting rights marches that took place in 1965 lead by Martin Luther King, Jr., Hosea Williams, James Bevel and John Lewis. Common plays Bevel and David Oyelowo stars as King in the film that will have a limited release on December 25th and will open nationally on January 9th. Oprah is one of the producers and also has a role as civil rights activist Annie Lee Cooper.
