Justin Simien’s Dear White People seeks to open a national dialogue about race in “post-racial” America. The film centers around a group of Black students attending an Ivy League college and an African-American themed party given by white students which causes a riot.The movie was received well at Sundance this year and will be in theaters October 24th.
