Rebellum performed in Detroit last night at Trinosophes to celebrate the release of The Darknuss later this month. The band’s regular lineup had the addition of Detroit guitarist Duminie Deporres, who is a past member of the P-Funk Allstars and Soul Clique join them. “Time To Start Thinking Like An Afreakun,” “Somebody To Love You” and “Young Frankenstank” are all from the album described as “snarky protest songs, wry race music and romantic warrior anthems.”
