De La Soul reconnects with J.Dilla on the song “Plugged In” from their upcoming Smell The DA.I.S.Y.mixtape which is exclusively produced by the late Detroit producer. Yesterday, March 3rd marks 25 years since 3 Feet High & Rising emerged and brought George Clinton back from the dead with “Me, Myself & I” and in the process explained sampling to the world with Prince Paul’s the production skills. There will also be the Premiem Soul On The Rocks mixtape co-produced by DJ Premier and Pete Rock. And they are working on their 9th studio album You’re Welcome.
