Tony Terry’s “With You” was the summit of his popularity as a New Jack Swing singer and a permanent addition to the canon of wedding songs. Terry started singing professionally as back-up for the freestyle group Sweet Sensation and hip-hop group The Boogie Boys. He became a solo artist with Epic/CBS Records by 1987 and “She’s Fly” was his first single. His run with Epic produced three albums and the leading singles, “Lovey Dovey,” “Everlasting Love” and “Forever Yours” before he left the music business for a while. In 2006 Terry returned with the independent album Changed and he later he appeared in the plays Tall Dark and Handsome and Love Unbreakable. Tony Terry is currently working on a new album and released the single “All I Need” on February 14, 2013.
