Nashville producer Amerigo Gazaway is prepping for the release of Yasiin Gaye with the leak of “Inner City Travellin’ Man.” Gazaway’s Fela Soul and Bizarre:Tribe projects in 2011 and 2012 were musical mash-ups that quickly identified him as a tasteful remixer of hip-hop and Afrobeat. Yasiin Gaye is the first release in Gazaway’s new Soul Mates collaboration series and it puts together the music of Yasiin Bey and Marvin Gaye.
