Jazz Fusion Virtuoso Billy Cobham Announces Jazz Cafe Spectrum 40 Show

World-renowned jazz fusion drummer Billy Cobham announces a fourteen-city American and Canadian tour celebrating the 40th anniversary of his breakthrough album, Spectrum, which is widely regarded as one of the genre’s most significant and influential works.

Jazz Café is proud to announce the return of Billy Cobham for one night and 2 performances, Saturday, October 5th at 8 and 10 PM.

The upcoming Fall Spectrum 40 Tour will brilliantly showcase Cobham’s explosive, complex style of play, which has thrilled music aficionados around the globe since the early ‘70s when he was a founding member of the Mahavishnu Orchestra. Today, after decades of boundless musical exploration, the versatile Cobham continues to evolve and innovate as a master drummer, percussionist, composer, producer, educator and clinician–as audiences around the country will soon experience through the unforgettable Spectrum 40 shows.

In what promises to be a mesmerizing series of performances in unique music venues in various North American regions, Cobham brings together an all-star support group for this landmark tour, featuring Dean Brown (guitar); Gary Husband (piano) and Ric Fierabracci (bass).
