Afu-Ra is an underground rapper from Brooklyn who made his first recording appearance on Jeru The Damaja’s “Mental Stamnia.” “Defeat” is the second single from his 2000 Body Of The Life Force debut.“Whirlwind Thru Cities” was the first single on the album that had production work from DJ Premier among others like DJ Muggs. Life Force Radio was his 2002 sophomore follow-up that had guest spots from Guru, Big Daddy Kane, Rza and Teena Marie. His third studio album State Of The Arts was released in 2005. Afu-Ra’s current album Body Of The Life Force 2 came out November 26th.
