UK folk singer Josephine is releasing her debut album Portrait the first week of October. “What A Day” is a philosophical survival song from the album and it’s available digitally and as a 7″ mint colored piece of vinyl at Rough Trade. The singer has credited Joan Armatrading and Morrissey as influences and the inspiring but critical tone of “What A Day” has elements from both artists in Josephine’s low-keyed approach.
