“Jansport Strings” is the first single from Skyzoo’s A Dream Deferred that will be released on October 2nd. The song is a tribute to the time Skyzoo saw Chi Ali on Video Music Box and was inspired to rap. It’s also a reference to the strings on his Jansport bag which was a status symbol among the kids he went to school with in New York City. The album has features from Jill Scott, Talib Kweli, Raheem DeVaughn and Freeway.
