Doomtree announce official SXSW showcase to be held at Scoot Inn on Wednesday, March 14th. This year all 7 members (P.O.S, Dessa, Sims, Cecil Otter, Mike Mictlan, Paper Tiger, and Lazerbeak) will be performing individual sets highlighting tracks off of their solo releases as well as a full crew set. Doomtree has been on tour non-stop since mid-January in support of their most recent album No Kings.They will also be playing various other showcases throughout the week.

Get Cryphy is made up of Plain Ole Bill (DJ for P.O.S and Brother Ali), Jimmy2Times (Resident Rhymesayers Radio DJ), Last Word (DJ for MaLLy and M.anifest), and Fundo (DJ for Prof). Beginning in 2005 as a duo, Plain Ole Bill and Jimmy2Times set up shop around Minneapolis playing 4 turntable sets. After initially having a club night called “Party & Bullshit†at Foundation, the two sought a new home. First Avenue’s Record Room was the spot and the boys have been there the 1st Friday of every month ever since. While initially bringing in guest DJs each month, Last Word and Fundo quickly became permanent members of the group.
