BBU’s “Jumpers” is another song to precede their 2012 mixtape bell hooks. The group was inspired by a desire to stay in their hometown of Chicago as opposed to moving to New York to become successful in the music industry. They also wanted to highlight people’s everyday struggles and combat the weak points of commercial rap.
