Colonel Hardgroove is a guitarist who has spent a lot of time in Public Enemy’s band helping them to bring the noise. But now the Colonel wants to do a solo project of his own heart without the pressure of a record label. So he’s started a Kickstarter campaign for his band to raise $90,000 by November 15th. An impressive crew of individuals have come on board to make his dream a reality. Jack Douglas and Eddie Kramer combined have produced for John Lennon, Led Zeppelin, Miles Davis, Jimi Hendrix and David Bowie among others are both committed to producing the end result.Once the funding is in place The Hardgroove Project is looking to release the album in June 2012.
