BMI Urban Awards Honors Royalty Network for “Say Ahh” Performed by Trey Songz, Penned by Ron “Young Yonny” Ferebee

LOS ANGELES, August 29, 2011 – Royalty Network, one of the leading independent music publishers in the US, took home one of the top honors at this past Friday’s BMI Urban Awards Urban for the “Most Performed Song of the Year.” The song honored was “Say Aah” performed by Trey Songz and penned by Royalty Network’s Ron “Young Yonny” Ferebee.

“We’re honored to again receive a BMI Urban Award, and particularly pleased with the continued hits that Yonny writes and produces,” remarked Krian Music Group and Royalty Network President, Frank Liwall. “He’s proving to be amongst the elite in the Songwriting world.”

The annual event celebrates the songwriters, producers and music publishers of the past year’s most-performed R&B, rap and hip-hop songs in the BMI repertoire.

The 2011 ceremony featured high-wattage star power and broke BMI records. BMI honors songwriters who have had a “unique and indelible influence on generations of music makers” as Icons.
