The Beast is a hip-hop quartet out of North Carolina that includes Nneena Freelon’s son Pierce as one of its members. In October of last year they released the collaborative album Freedom Now Suite. Okayplayer debuted this video for their cover of Mos Def’s “Umi Says” yesterday and it looks like everyone had a good time making it.
