Mixtape: A3C Partners With SMKA For Part One Of Official 2010 A3C Mixtape + New Showcase Announcements

(September 29, 2010 – Brooklyn, NY) The 2010 A3C Hip-Hop Festival is fast approaching. Kicking off Thursday, October 7th, the two-night, three-day festival will feature a number of exciting panel discussions and performances from a who’s-who of rappers — legends and up-and-comers, alike, will be rounding out the festival’s performance schedule.

With over 200 artists taking one of the festival’s many stages over the course of the weekend, A3C has teamed up with SMKA to present a two-part Official 2010 A3C Mixtape, featuring tracks from a sampling of the artists scheduled to perform. Showing off the regional diversity of artists in attendance, part one of the series features tracks from 1982 (Statik Selektah & Termanology), Crooked I, Killer Mike, Chaundon, The Jacka, and more.

In other news, A3C continues announce exciting showcases as the festival approaches. Highlighting the all-day festivities on the festival’s final day are showcases from AllHipHip.com and OkayPlayer.com. The AllHipHop.com showcase will be headlined by Atlanta native Killer Mike, and will feature performances from such heavyweights as Kidz In The Hall, Donnis, Nappy Roots, Mistah FAB, Killa Kyleon, Stalley, and Willie Joe. The OkayPlayer.com showcase will also be hitting the stage Saturday with their own who’s-who line-up of performers, including STS, Truck North, Spree Wilson, Brittany Bosco, TiRon, Homeboy Sandman, and J-Live. Closing the OkayPlayer showcase will be crowd favorite Diamond District.

Fadia Kader and The Smoking Section have teamed up to present their own showcase, Perfect Attendance, a three-day showcase featuring a total of 79 artists broken down by region. Up first, on October 7th, is the West, with performances from Dom Kennedy, Pac Div, DaVinci, TiRon, and more. The Mid West will be featured on Friday, with performances from Mac Miller, Fly.Union, Stalley, LEP Bogus Boys, and more, and closing things out on Saturday will be the East, with performances from Tanya Morgan, The Kid Daytona, Jackie Chain, Hollyweerd, and more.
